A Maying Song
This delightful young lady, Bella Hardy, sang in the choir at my wedding. She probably doesn't remember that strange guy who wobbled off the train at Edale in 1994.
Well done, Bella.

Why did you marry her? Was it love? I love her but she will not marry me. Love of marriage is usually a girl thing. Do you agree with monogamy? Ask her if she loves me - even a little bit. Tell her I love her will you please. Has she yet family? What age has she left - yet? Who else do you love? Who else does she love?
Of course I believe in monogamy. I have never been married to more than one woman at a time. I have neither the energy nor resources to be otherwise. (By the way, I love them both.) My advice to anonymous loser-in-love: buy a bicycle and some camping equipment, put it (and yourself) on the train to Edale, spend three months living in a tent there and see what happens.
